Playoff Hockey Is Almost Upon Us

With the First Day of Spring having just past, the excitement of playoff hockey is now upon us. The race for NHL teams to secure a position in the playoffs is coming down to the wire, as teams are making the final push to extend their season. Eight teams from each of the two conferences qualify for the playoffs based on their regular season point totals. There will be sixteen teams that make it into the playoffs, which consist of four rounds of best of seven series.

Although the regular season has not yet concluded, there are some teams that have virtually clinched their spot in the playoffs. These teams are the Nashville Predators, Anaheim Ducks, St. Louis Blues, and Chicago Blackhawks in the Western Conference. Anaheim is the overall point leader in the West.

The Eastern Conference has some stronger teams this year, and look to give the recently dominant Western Conference a run for their money. The Montreal Canadians, New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and New York Islanders all look to be locked into the playoffs at this point.

With the Western Conference winning the last 4 of 5 Stanley Cups, the Eastern Conference may need some extra support! You can show your support for the above teams at BradfordExchangeChecks.com, allowing you to proudly show off the support for your team every time you write a check or mail a letter! Better than that, Bradford Exchange Checks offers security features that rival Henrik Lundqvist in net, because protecting your financial information is of the greatest importance!
